Abstract
  • The purpose of this project was to equip the ministry staff of Immanuel Baptist Church, Highland, California with improved skills for supervising volunteers. The project director researched resources in the field of volunteer supervision, developed an annotated bibliography and a teaching standard with the help of experts in the field of Christian education, and, ultimately, created a training curriculum that addressed needs discovered in a survey of the church's volunteers and staff. The project director taught the curriculum in a two-day workshop with the ministry staff and evaluated the success of the project by multiple means.
