Abstract
  • This paper considers the holistic health of the individual from an Eastern Orthodox perspective. The Eastern Orthodox emphasis on excellence of body, mind and soul offers an enlightening and refreshing look at the essence of what a human being is and what he or she may potentially become. The project examines this continual process of 'becoming' by setting Eastern Orthodox liturgical and practical life applications alongside the Jungian individuation process. It provides a deeper understanding of the need to forgive and to be forgiven in order to attain holistic healing and well-being.
