- A congregation's vitality is connected to fulfilling the promises of baptism made by the congregation. The author introduced and explored what it means for a congregation to focus its attention on fulfilling the baptismal promises so that people learn to trust God, proclaim Christ, care for others and the world, and work for justice and peace. The author explored opportunities to bring renewed vitality to a congregation through fulfilling the baptismal promises.
