Abstrait

This project develops a course to prepare prospective church members for membership in light of challenges presented by present-day biblical illiteracy, the uncommon nature of a separated, fundamental Baptist church, the preservation of congregational unity, and maintenance of a regenerate church membership. The project uses personal experience, requests of church leadership, and a survey of current literature to establish course content. The project surveyed students to evaluate the effectiveness of the course, concluding that the course is a valuable preparation tool.
