Abstract

This project was designed to provide a church-based support group to men strugging with depression, an approach which utilized modified Celebrate Recovery [registered trade mark symbol] methods and Archibald Hart's Unmasking male depression. The report began with a survey of psychological, sociological, and theological insights into male depression. The support group consisted of eight weekly sessions with homework assignments drawn from CR material, Hart's book, and daily devotionals.
