- This project designed and tested methods to form a singles group in a local congregation, First Christian Church in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The two primary objectives in the project were: first, formation of a convening group to work with the minister to form the core group which receives training in singles ministry and group process before the larger group is formed. Second, development of a system where the minister is the primary resource and, at the proper time, gives authority and leadership to the convening group.
