To discern is to commune with God. Communion with God occurs through faith in God’s Son Jesus Christ. Faith in Jesus Christ brings the Holy Spirit’s presence into one’s life. This allows the created to supernaturally experience its existence from the Creator’s perspective. Discernment is concerned with acknowledging, contemplating, processing, understanding and responding as one realizes God’s existence in their life and existence throughout all creation. This project focuses on how the body of Christ can discern God’s will so that individually and collectively followers of Jesus can best live into the realities of Jesus’ mission and ministry.
