Abstract
  • This project seeks to persuade Dahlonega Baptist Church to recontextualize its evangelistic message to 'Generation X' persons in a 'postmodern' environment by planning and launching a seeker-driven outreach meeting. The project establishes a warrant for gospel contextualization with biblical and historical examples. On this foundation the project contrasts modernism and postmodernism, considers influences shaping a Generation X profile, and presents four 'contours' of a contextualized gospel for this postmodern generation. The congregation embraces and develops the experimental ministry.
