Abstract
  • An examination of the Old and New Testament Scriptures using the original language of Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek in order to define what they have to say with regard to personal Bible study. Also included is a survey of some major approaches to personal Bible study which have been used down through church history, and a model for understanding the congregation's social construction of reality. The author develops a successful method for increasing the practice of personal Bible study within the congregation.
