Abstract

The purpose of this program is to train lay leaders for the evangelistic ministry of the church. The training program based on biblical principles is applied to the special characteristics and culture among first generation Mandarin-speaking Chinese immigrants from the People's Republic of China. The program will consist of eleven sessions that include the use of lectures, readings from assigned scriptures and related articles, administration of questionnaires and interviews, and group discussions.
