- This project thesis assesses the spiritual formation dynamics and components of a cell group at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Using video observation and participant interviews, this study explores the impact of leadership, a formational method of Bible study, the interlacing power of stories, prayer, conversation, and silence, in order to determine the efficacy of this small group model. This project concludes that a cell group can be a powerful congregational tool for spiritual growth, placing disciples in an intentional process whereby they are nurtured and challenged to 'tend to their faith.'
