Abstract

The purpose of this project was to impact leadership's experience of God's love through participation in an eight-week small group experience. It emphasized a biblical understanding of God's true identity, the value God placed on people individually and the experience of contemplative prayer. All eight participants demonstrated growth in their deepening experience of God's love for them. Individuals found new experiences of how much God values them, the experience of God sheltering them in stressful times, the ability to discern and yield to God's voice and new experiences of inner peace and joy in God's faithfulness.
