Abstract
  • Because of the shortage of priests in the author's Roman Catholic diocese, he is convinced that in the future pastors assigned to his parish will not reside in the parish rectory. A nonresident pastor will bring a different kind of pastoring to the parish. The author directed a reflection group which used Whiteheads' book 'Method in Ministry,' to generate a descriptive model of this future parish. It is hoped that when the nonresident pastor arrives, the project report's model will enable the pastor and the parish council to operate the parish in an effective and efficient manner.
