Abstrait

The purpose of this project was to equip selected members of Walker Baptist Church, Monroe, Georgia, in orphan ministry. The project was an equipping model. The project director researched various resources on orphans and orphan ministry and developed a workshop curriculum. He utilized expert evaluators to advise and evaluate research, curriculum development, and personal growth. The project director personally selected members and led them in a total of six equipping sessions. Members learned the biblical principles related to orphan ministry and were equipped in practical ways to minister to orphans. The project director measured effectiveness through a pre-test/post-test, interviews, and personal reflection.
