Abstract
  • This project explores the relationship of conjoint prayer to marital adjustment. It develops a couples' prayer workshop as an intervention tool to promote marital prayer, and evaluates the results through pre- and post-tests of the experimental and control groups. The results reveal a slight but definite correlation between conjoint prayer and marital adjustment. No significant difference is found in a comparison of either the practice of conjoint prayer or for marital adjustment. Further research could focus on collecting data on the correlation of conjoint prayer and marital adjustment and on developing an improved methodology for the enhancement of long-term change.
