Abstract

This project presents gracious giving as a necessary response to God's grace. It examines the the essential elements of stewardship by forming and teaching a project committee seen as a small group who applied what they learned to encourage a larger group, the congregation, to put into practice their stewardship responsibilities. The church community this project focuses on is Sandy Ridge African Methodist Episcopal Church of Landis, North Carolina. Through the design and implementation of a stewardship curriculum, this project endeavors to foster a church community in the giving of their time, spiritual gifts, and finances.
