Abstract
  • This project encourages intentional participation in community outreach among African American members of Wiley United Methodist Church (Springfield, Ohio) through six sessions of structured, holistic preaching. The project defines holistic preaching as preaching to the whole person--body, mind, and spirit. This preaching causes the congregation to grow in attitude and in actual behavior toward community outreach.
