Abstract

This project addressed the situation that many people have rarely considered what their funeral might look like. It also provided an avenue for people to discuss their own death and to begin the process of pre-planning their funerals as a way to celebrate their life story and take some of the burden off their family. Using traditional research methods and observations made from his ministry experience, the author created a workshop for members of his congregation. The workshop resulted in the participants leaving with a working documents for their funeral and an opportunity of more detailed pre-planning with their pastor.
