Abstract
  • The project trained a group of seventeen church staff ministers in team building to become a more effective ministry team. Through using team-building techniques the writer sought to improve the effectiveness of the group by reducing conflict and building cohesive relationships within the church's pastoral staff. The project required ten seminar sessions and a two-session workshop to complete the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. The major components of the project were: goal setting, communication, conflict management, personality type, and spiritual gifts. The ministers improved their effectiveness as a ministering team as a result of the seminar.
