Abstract
  • The sexual abuse of children in families has been denied and shrouded in secrecy for centuries. This project attempts to bring to the forefront the realities of incest by reviewing some statistical information and published literature on incest within a feminist framework. It also presents the voices of seventeen young women who were incest victims. A profile of the incestuous family based on the seventeen testimonies is offered in the form of a case study which is written in the voice of the victim/survivor and has a Christian slant. The project ends with guidelines for ministry.
