The ministry praxis was designed to inspire hope in the life of Bethel Baptist Church in Bessemer, AL, as the praxis director preached through First Peter. The Praxis director believes that First Peter will revive our hope, thus bringing us into a deeper, richer, and fresher relationship with Jesus Christ. The ultimate goal was to foster mature disciples of Jesus Christ. The praxis director hopes that preaching through First Peter in conjunction with the focus group discussions in an intergernerational context will navigate BBC members in the direction of a greater maturity in Christ.
