- Abstract
- The purpose of this project is to evangelize Chinese students enrolled in the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. This will be done by developing and initiating a ministry plan for equipping members of First Baptist Church, Fayetteville, Arkansas. This local church will serve as the platform for this ministry plan. The ministry plan includes preaching messages on evangelism and the importance of discipleship. It involves teaching a seven week class to equip volunteers to evangelize Chinese students, including lessons on the biblical foundation for the need of salvation, the cultural and social needs of Chinese students, effective models for ministry, relationship building, the importance of witnessing, the introduction of tracts and videos, and the importance of baptism. The time frame for the ministry plan will begin with a two week plan for preaching the messages, nine weeks for recruiting ad equipping volunteers with an interest in Chinese student ministry, and one week for evaluation. A total of twelve weeks will be required to accomplish the ministry plan.
