- Abstract
- When adults join the church it is an opportune time to help them clarify, understand and focus their relationship with God. Yet, often this opportunity is missed. In light of this concern, the author developed a small group course, which was aimed to introduce adults to a Wesleyan way of relating to God. By using experimental theology as a model and Kurt Lewin's 'Steps of Change' as an outline, he established a dialogue between the participants' experience and theological concepts in the Wesleyan heritage. For a majority of the participants, the result was a new vision of their relationship to God.
