- Abstract
- This project develops a conceptual model for combining theological and psycho-social approaches in addressing the problem of alcoholism. There is no absolute approach in dealing with alcoholics. Instead, a 'process approach' which is flexible, creative, progressive and redemptive is recommended. It combines insights from theological, psycho-social and medical perspectives into a dynamic process which the author calls the 'lazy eight' model, a journey into recovery and wholeness.
