- Abstract
- This project is an effort by the author to improve the educational experience of seminary students through the development of a close formalized relationship between the seminary and congregations served by students. The project also seeks to affirm laity in the process of ministerial formation. Three program goals include: (1) to establish local church lay support committees for students, (2) to hold a three hour conference, involving faculty, students, and laity, on laity's involvement in theological education, and (3) provide supervisory training for laity through on-site visits by faculty. A correlation of the project's goals, objectives, criteria and methods of evaluation may be found in figures 1, 2, and 3, pages 9-11 of the proposal.
