Abstract

This report describes how cable television can be a practical ministry for a local congregation. It identifies and describes a variety of cablevision ministries currently being carried out by some religious cablecasters. It identifies and describes some of the perceived benefits of such a cablevision ministry to the local congregation. It identifies some key questions which must be considered in order to institute a cablevision ministry, including questions of theological and ethical foundations, and describes how some, who have already instituted a cablevision ministry, have answered these questions.
