- Abstract
- There is a need for local church adult educational strategies that are biblically sound and methodologically effective. This project evaluated core classes in light of the Apostle Paul's goal of strengthening churches and their members, the biblical content of the kerygma and the didache necessary to strengthen every Christian, the means of instruction for facilitating lifelong learning, and the means of assessing the progress of the learners as a result of the teaching. The research design combines feedback from church leadership and participants as well as non-participants in the classes through surveys and open-ended interviews. From the research a strategic plan was developed for core classes that would serve to strengthen the church and its members in the Christian faith.
