Abstract
  • This project assists members of Ocilla Baptist Church to identify and understand their spiritual gifts. The project enlists participants in experimental and control groups, administering a self-analysis that reveals the understanding and recognition of gifts. Members of the experimental group begin their training with the Myers-Briggs Personality Inventory to help them grasp unique aspects of their personalities, and then work through seven sessions studying the biblical basis for spiritual gifts in order to understand how God may have equipped them to serve in the church. Those who complete this course make statistically significant progress in identifying and understanding their spiritual gifts, while members of the control group show no change.
