Abstract
  • This project/dissertation is based on 52 Sunday evening services planned and implemented by the author in a mid-size suburban Baptist church that is predominantly Black. Literature review, surveys, questionnaires and interviews were completed to provide background information for the planning and implementation of the model. This case study resulted in the formation of procedures to be used in the development of an effective program through the employment of sound administrative techniques, careful planning, variety of worship and meaningful services that exhibited the presence of the Holy Spirit. The model has a theological basis and a historical significance.
