- Abstract
- The focus of this dissertation is the biblical stewardship of rapid church growth and the unique challenges presented in regards to the practical theological soundness if a church is going to develop in a healthy fashion. A case study for this project was from those completing a new members' course at the Independent Presbyterian Church in Memphis, TN. Data was collected by way of survey with questions pertaining to the biblical aspects of community, purpose, and structure. Although the results were less than sensational, this project made many contributions to the life and future of the church studied.
