Abstrakt

This research project focused its attention on the evangelistic ministry of five newly formed Brazilian-American congregations in Greater Atlanta that have been doing a dynamic work in reaching others for Christ. I surveyed and had focus groups with these churches. I wanted to understand why these churches are successfully reaching unchurched Brazilians, Americans, and Hispanics for Christ. Their evangelistic approach has caused, in my opinion, a reversal in the lack of congregational growth within the American context. I believe the reason why they are effective is because they are intentional in their goal of reaching others for Christ.
