Abstract
  • This research project studies what factors in the Geneva Bible Institute program motivate a student to: (a) choose to attend the Geneva Bible Institute (b) continue at the Geneva Bible Institute, after one year of studies, for three more years of training for full-time ministry, (c) actually begin full-time church planting or pastoral ministry in France after graduation, and (d) continue in full-time church planting or pastoral ministry in France. Sixteen written questionnaires of graduates and eight case studies of graduates were personally interviewed. Mentoring in supervised field education is a very significant factor in motivating Geneva Bible Institute students to begin and continue in full-time ministry.
