Abstract
  • The purpose of the project was to establish a marriage enrichment program based on the biblical model of the one-flesh relationship of marriage, which was then used to strengthen the primary coping systems of selected couples at Victory Baptist Church. Chapter 2 discusses the development of the biblical model of the one-flesh relationship of marriage. Chapter 3 uses research in the behavioral sciences to focus on the development of the marriage enrichment movement and ministry. Chapter 4 focuses on implementation of a marriage enrichment program in Victory Baptist Church. The social research tools used to measure growth in a couple's primary coping system as a result of marriage enrichment are also discussed. Chapter 5 presents a summary and evaluation of the ministry project. It includes the results of the data, gathered and tested, and conclusions as to what this data revealed.
