Abstracto

This study analyzes the problems in Korean-American mixed-marriage life of the San Francisco Bay area related to cultural and historical perspectives. The project then develops a practical guideline for the church workers for their mixed-marriage family ministry. The research has been done through the review of literature, questionnaires, and intensive case studies. According to the study, the hazardous factors for the Korean-American mixed marriage familes are: 1) improper motives for the marriage; 2) the language problem; 3) problems caused by the cultural factors; and 4) difficulties in the social adjustment.
