Abstract
  • The purpose of the project was to identify the leadership factors in Kentucky Baptist Convention churches that are growing in contributions to missions through the Cooperative Program. Through social research nine factors were identified. The most significant were: 1) worship satisfaction, 2) key leaders keeping missions giving identified as part of the church's purpose, and 3) a blend between pastoral and lay leadership that was highly satisfying. These factors were used as the bases for proposals to develop these positive traits in Kentucky Baptist Convention churches.
