Abstract
  • Given that the church's ministry is a ministry of all believers and is by nature a unified and dynamic ministry of healing and reconciliation, this project proposes interim ministry as a special form of that ministry in which the particular vision is restoration of health to the whole body of Christ. Based on experience, research, and reflection, the project concludes that it is essential to effective praxis of such ministry that congregation, pastor, and judicatory, eschewing any hierarchy of gifts, seek and find together a common language of faith.
