Abstract
  • The purpose of this project is to train the Jerusalem Baptist Church's leaders for church growth through proclamation and service. A sequence of learning events were developed for their spiritual growth and leadership skills. A Pro-Active Research Method and the Reflection-Action Model helped the pastor and leaders analyze the congregation's needs which led to action plans for proclamation and social services. The Research Model afforded the pastor and leaders to make decisions based on their assessment of community needs. The project resulted in leaders playing a more satisfactory roll in decision making and assuming larger responsibilities in ministry.
