Abstrakt

This project investigates the potential for effective ministry and mission in 'plateaued' churches that have ceased to grow in numbers. Using a Likard scale research instrument to survey growing and plateaued churches, the project questioned these congregations about witness, service, fellowship, maturity, and worship. Responses demonstrate that valuable ministry is accomplished by both growing and plateaued churches, and that criteria beyond numerical growth may be used to measure the effectiveness of a church's ministry.
