- Abstract
- This case study exploration of a technique employed within the professional context of parish ministry to enhance individuation of mid-life adults contains supporting psychological, theological, life-stage, and hermeneutical material. The author draws upon concepts of analytical psychology, seeks appropriate theological correlations, offers psychological-theological exegesis of five biblical passages which project participants used in active imagination, and includes a literary analysis of mid-life individuation issues in The Tempest. Three extensive case studies based on ten hours of subject interviews, including the Word Association and Thematic Apperception Tests, along with two other case-synopses, are presented.
