Abstract
  • This project sought to test the thesis that knowledge of one's spiritual gifts leads to greater involvement in and commitment to ministry. The study involved use of a two group pretest/posttest to test for knowledge gain as well as three spiritual gift inventories. Attitude change was measured by use of a semantic differential constructed for this project. A focused interview was also conducted with small group participants. The result of the project showed some significant change in attitude toward ministry involvement in those who understood themselves as gifted for ministry. The connection, however, was not precise.
