- Abstract
- This project was designed to teach members of the Macedonian Missionary Baptist Church, in Dayton, OH about economic empowerment ministry and its implementation. A seven-hour course was taught and two meetings of the graduates were conducted. The comparison of the post-test responses to the pre-test responses along with the post group interview showed a significant amount of comprehension and willingness to carry out economic empowerment ministry. The results of this project and the economic realities of African Americans should urge especially Black churches to prioritize economic empowerment ministry.
