Abstracto

The study explored the thesis that churches who develop a holistic, multifaceted Christian education ministry will result in a more mature level of faith in members and friends. The author assessed the level of faith maturity among members by means of a questionnaire adapted from Search Institute, held several goal setting and program planning meetings with a focus group of lay leaders, and presented several elective learning experiences over a twelve-month period. While one year is too early to assess major changes in faith maturity levels, the congregation responded positively to the Christian educational initiatives and showed commitment in continued participation.
