Abstract
  • Using Arthur Chickering's definition of 'institutional amplification', this project raised the profile of Interfaith Ministry at Union College. Beginning with an assessment of the historical context of this ministry and examining theories of chaplaincy, institutional culture in Higher Education and faith development, the project engaged students and Student Affairs professionals in a process designed to intensify the presence and increase the knowledge of this ministry to a small liberal arts college in the Northeast.
