Abstract
  • This project presents a model and process by which a Baptist association may develop a kingdom focus. Chapter 1 defines the purpose, goals, and rationale for the project. Chapter 2 demonstrates the biblical basis for intervention, cooperation, and a kingdom focus for the association. Chapter 3 seeks to establish a working definition of an association by examining associational history and contemporary trends. Chapter 4 presents a model that consists of four key components designed to create a kingdom focus. Chapter 5 concludes the project with an evaluation of its strengths, weaknesses, and goals along with theological and personal reflections.
