- This dissertation addresses the biblical foundation, sociological perspectives and ministry principles as a basis of understanding the X generation and proposing strategies for evangelizing them in Palm Beach County, Florida. Chapter one sets the context of the author's work. Chapter two lays a biblical foundation for cross-cultural ministry. Chapter three defines and describers Xers from a sociological perspective. Chapter four addresses reaching and ministering to them. Chapter five evaluates the work, cites implications, and proposes strategies for reaching Xers within the context of the ministries of First Baptist Church of West Palm Beach, Florida.
