- This ministry project was designed by the writer to lead members of Briarwood Baptist Church to reach military families living at the John C. Stennis Naval Air Station for Christ. This project was comprised of two major components--seminars and outreach evenings. Seminars concentrated on military family needs, Naval Air Station regulations regarding visitors, and how to share one's faith. The writer measured positive cognitive and attitudinal changes in most all the participants. As the participants become more knowledgeable of the Naval Air Station, anxieties dissipated and confidence increased.
