Abstract
  • The purpose of this thesis project is to study how to establish a leadership ministry that will disciple men and women of God to develop effective urban ministry leaders, who under the direction of the Holy Spirit, will serve as agents of shalom within their local congregation and their city, facilitating not only individual, but also community transformation. This study will also briefly address some of the issues affecting leadership development with Latinos through an urban perspective. The inner city church of Iglesia Cristiana de la Comunidad/Christian Community Church in Worcester, Massachusetts, served as the case study for this project.
