Abstract
  • The origins, growth and programs of three evangelical seminaries in India are studied. An instrument of evaluation consisting of interviews with principals and questionnaires of students and alumni was prepared and administered. The findings were analyzed. It was observed that since institutional integration was not possible, nor advisable, the best way to cooperate and share resources would be to suggest degree program integration. This would assist to integrate knowledge, experience, and practical skills in a balanced way. The proposals and advantages of degree program integration are discussed and it is proposed that program integration will better prepare ministers for Christian ministry in India.
