- This report is the narrative of the development, testing, and evaluation of a preaching model that could be used by pastors as a tool to mobilize congregations around the mission and vision that God has placed in their hearts. In addition to providing biblical and theological foundations for preaching and the ministry of the preacher-pastor, it explains the structure of the processes used to examine this model at the First Baptist Church of Chesterfield, Missouri. Each stage of the study is described, methods of assessments discussed, and conclusions drawn.
