Abstrait

This project proposes and prepares a manual for beginning evangelists in order to birth, build, and broaden full-time evangelistic ministries among local Assemblies of God. The manual analyzes the theological, historical, sociological, and practical roles of first-century evangelists and applies them to evangelists of the twenty-first century. Data from two national surveys of pastors and evangelists build a bridge between these ministry gifts. The manual concludes with an eight-step paradigm of biblical, evangelistic preaching.
